Exhibiton Tension Between Man and Nature 9/10th & 16/17th April

Tension Between Man and Nature is a textile exhibition by the Secret Cemeteries Group. It shows the community Hanging and Individual work by members. It is at Kensal Green Cemetery April 9th//10th and 16th/17th. See the members section of web site for more details.

Stalling

I always try and get to the Cottenham event, not only are there workshops and exhibitions there are lots of lovely stalls selling all the threads and fabrics I usually have to buy on line. So much to touch and see. And yes Art Van Go are usually there!

suffolk library

TAGS [Textile Art Group Suffolk] is putting up an exhibition [for free, plus 15% commission on any Sales] at Woodbridge library as part of the Save our Libraries campaign.

Other ERTF artists and groups might like to enquire at their local library and offer a similar event.

Woodbridge is not under threat [as yet] but many other libraries in Suffolk are listed to be closed, as they are in each County.

Monday 7th February at Nowton Village Hall, Bury St Edmonds

11a.m. - 2pm.

All members welcome to a practical stitching day, just bring your work and a warm jumper, it can be chilly in the hall this time of year.
