"Up-Cycling Conference" and AGM - 18 April 2015, Chelmsford, Essex

The timetable and booking form are now available on the ERTF website and booking is now open.

The theme for our spring conference is up-cycling, with speaker Lisa Tilley (textile designer and up-cycler) of "U Old Bag", speaking in the afternoon.  For more information on Lisa and her work visit her Facebook page - HERE.

Call for artists - A celebration of ethical textiles

ERTF member Jenny Leslie is involved in a project to encourage the use of natural materials and dyes for textile work, and a call for artists has now been put out for exhibitors.

This is open to all, and not an ERTF event.

A percentage of the money raised will be donated to the Woodland Trust.

"Diversity" at Cottenham, Cambridgeshire - Textiles in Focus - 20-22 February 2015

An annual event, Textiles in Focus, is more than just an exhibition of textiles - with workshops, a lecture and traders galore, all in the village of Cottenham, Cambridgeshire from the 20 to the 22 February 2015.

This year Eastern Region Textile Forum will be exhibiting work by members under the title of "Diversity".  There will be members on hand to talk about the group and what we do.
