Another successful day at Chelmsford led by Essex member, Juliet Bryson. Thankfully Juliet's mum, Maureen, also came to help as we had complete novices - so basically it was one-to-one tution to get them casting on - most mastered cast on, knit, purl and cast off in the three hours. It was humbling to remember how difficult it is to learn a completely new skill when you have no idea what you are meant to me doing! They all showed great patience and determination.
