The manager of the Wimpole Estate is considering closing the Gallery at Wimpole Hall now that Olga Damont,the curator has retired. However, Olga is very keen for it to continue, and given how few good gallery spaces there are in Cambridge this is of interest to us all. Olga has organised this final exhibition in the hope that there will be many visitors. All you have to do is go along and sign the visitors book (both with your left and right hand!) The exhibition is free, it is open from Saturday 11th September from 1 -5 pm and will continue until November. It will be manned at the weekends but please phone before hand to check if you plan to go during the week. Her first show at Wimpole was one of the best exhibitions I've seen and having been to her Open Studio this summer I'm sure this will not disappoint.
